Thanksgiving Dinner To Go in Houston 2026
The turkey can come from a restaurant. The hard part is choosing a package that feeds your table, includes the sides you actually want, and leaves you enough time to get dinner ready. Here is how Houston-area takeout options compare.
The 2026 holiday pickup windows in this guide have ended. Package prices and holiday pickup windows below are historical.
Start with the size of your table
A dinner for two and a whole-turkey feast solve different problems. Before comparing prices, decide whether you want a complete meal, the main protein only, or a few restaurant-made dishes alongside your own cooking. This guide focuses on pickup meals for home; for a restaurant reservation, see our Texas Thanksgiving dine-in guide.
For two people
A smaller package can spare you the cost and fridge space of a whole bird. Casa do Brasil has a two-person option. Check whether buying extra portions is intentional—you may want Friday leftovers, but you do not have to order for a crowd.
For a family table
For four to six, compare the full contents rather than the turkey alone. Count the vegetable dishes, starches and desserts, then decide which additions you would still need to make or buy.
For a larger gathering
Look at the lower end of a serving range before committing. A package advertised for 10–14 gives you less room for generous second helpings when all 14 guests are adults. Ask about adding food rather than relying on a generous interpretation of “serves.”

*Perry & Sons describes its family meal as serving “4+.” The tool uses four conservatively; ask the restaurant before relying on it for additional guests. Serving ranges are restaurant estimates, not a guarantee for every appetite.
No single package in this table covers that many diners. Ask about a larger catering order, extra portions or multiple packages.
The tool divides one package price by your guest count. It does not add food, reserve stock or place an order. For comparison, four people sharing a $170 package works out to $42.50 each before extras.
What comes with each restaurant’s meal?
A lower package price is useful only if you are happy with what arrives. These are the differences to check before paying: the main course, the side dishes, dessert, and what still needs attention in your kitchen.
Galleria area
Casa do Brasil
The takeout feast combines turkey breast with gravy, sweet potato casserole, stuffing, green bean casserole and cranberry relish. Each diner chooses a dessert from pumpkin cheesecake, carrot cake or pecan pie.
The two-person package includes 16 ounces of turkey breast; the four-person version has 32 ounces. Both work out to $42.50 per advertised diner, so the larger version does not provide a per-person price break. Choose according to your actual table size.
Pickup is listed for Thanksgiving Day. Ask whether the food is collected hot or chilled and how much preparation it needs before serving. The dine-in Full Experience is a separate product; its bonus-card terms should not be assumed to apply to takeout.
Location matters
Feges BBQ
The smaller dinner contains smoked turkey breast, gravy, pimento mac and cheese, loaded potato mash and cornbread. The larger feast includes a whole smoked turkey, gravy, two half-pan sides, cornbread and rum-raisin bread pudding.
The large feast is Spring Branch pickup only. Its whole turkey can be collected chilled or hot on Thanksgiving morning. Plan to heat the sides. The turkey breast dinner is chilled. Choose Spring Branch or Greenway Plaza when the item and slot are available. If you only need the meat, Feges lists a $65 smoked breast for four to six and a $140 hot whole turkey for Thanksgiving morning at Spring Branch.
The smaller package leaves dessert to you. That can be useful if someone is bringing a pie, while the larger package reduces the number of separate dishes you need to arrange. Check tray sizes against your fridge and oven before choosing a pickup day.
Friendswood
Perry & Sons Market & Grille
This Friendswood restaurant’s dinner includes a garden salad, smoked turkey breast, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry relish, bread and a choice of pumpkin or pecan pie. Call 281-482-2842 for a takeout order.
The family package is $169, compared with $196 for four individual $49 dinners—a $27 difference before any extras. Ask how the family portions are packed, particularly if people will be eating at different times.
The pickup address is 614 South Friendswood Drive. This is Perry & Sons Market & Grille, a separate restaurant from Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille locations. Make sure the name and address on your confirmation match where you intend to collect.
Choose a local store
Cracker Barrel
The family dinner includes turkey breast, sweet potato casserole, green beans, dressing, gravy, cranberry relish and rolls. The larger feast adds a second turkey breast, mashed potatoes and two pies. The current Heat & Serve page lists apple streusel and pecan. Check the checkout menu for your store.
The reported nationwide prices are about $119.99 and $189.99, with location variations. Select your Houston-area pickup store before deciding on the final cost. The packages require heating at home; allow up to two hours. Cracker Barrel requires 12 hours’ notice and says to serve the meal within 72 hours of pickup.
The larger feast includes dessert; the smaller dinner does not. Check your oven schedule if you are also baking something yourself. A chilled package gives you more control over serving time, but it still needs space in the refrigerator until preparation.
Westheimer
Winsome Prime
Pickup dates and the cutoff were reconfirmed November 4. The prices and serving ranges are from our earlier review of the catering menu. Confirm both when ordering.
The Cozy Feast includes one protein, two sides and dessert. The Festive Feast has two proteins, three sides and dessert; Gourmet Indulgence has two proteins, four sides and two desserts.
The catering menu offers smoked turkey or Hawaiian-glazed ham, with choices including dressing, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, or collard greens. Dessert options are carrot cake and sweet potato pie.
Pickup is at 5888 Westheimer Road. The published windows are November 25, 11 a.m.–10 p.m., and November 26, 10 a.m.–3 p.m. Order by November 22. Confirm your specific collection time and heating instructions rather than treating the full window as an open-ended reservation.

Four pickup points
Goode Co. Grocers
Both $260 feasts serve six to eight. Choose an 8–10 lb whole turkey or a 3½–4 lb turkey breast. Both include sausage-pecan stuffing, two potato gratins, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, rolls and Brazos Bottom Pecan Pie. A wooden gift box version is $280. The turkey and cranberry sauce are also sold separately for $120.
Preorders close November 19. Choose November 24 or 25 at checkout. Pickup points are Armadillo Palace (5015 Kirby Drive), Goode Co. Barbeque Memorial (8911 Katy Freeway), Goode Co. Barbeque Highway 290 (20102 Northwest Freeway) and Goode Co. Fish Camp (8865 Six Pines Drive, Suite 100, Shenandoah). These are take-and-bake meals. The order page links to reheating instructions.
West Loop or Shepherd
Demeris Bar-B-Q
The $259.95 feast serves 12–15 and includes a 12–16 lb Cajun fried turkey, cornbread dressing, green beans, macaroni and cheese, gravy, cranberry sauce, rolls and two whole pies. If you are making your own sides, the fried turkey is $114.95 by itself. A smoked or roasted bird is $104.95.
Orders are accepted through Wednesday, November 25 while supplies last. Order online for West Loop (1702 West Loop North, Suite A) or call 713-681-7204 for West Loop or 713-529-7326 for Shepherd (2911 S. Shepherd Drive). Confirm pickup time and whether your order comes hot or chilled.
Uptown Park
Étoile Cuisine et Bar
Étoile advertises limited Thanksgiving takeout on November 26. Call 832-668-5808 for the takeaway menu, price, serving count and pickup time. The restaurant lists separate dine-in pricing, so this option sits outside the package calculator.

How to choose without overspending
Compare the same kind of order
A turkey-only price cannot be compared fairly with a dinner containing vegetables, starches, gravy and dessert. Write down what is missing from each package before deciding which is less expensive. Adding two sides and a pie can change the answer.
Also distinguish a restaurant’s stated serving capacity from your own guest count. A $240 package shared by ten diners costs $24 each; split among fourteen, the arithmetic is lower, but the amount of food has not changed.
Decide what leftovers are worth to you
Extra food is not automatically wasted money. You might want turkey sandwiches the next day or a second meal for visiting family. The question is whether that is part of your plan—and whether you have somewhere to store it.
If several guests are bringing dishes, tell them what the restaurant package already includes. Three versions of mashed potatoes will not solve a missing vegetable or dessert.
Count the people who will really eat
Use the confirmed guest count first. Children’s appetites, dietary restrictions and second helpings affect how far a meal goes, but there is no reliable rule that every child counts as half an adult. Ask the restaurant what its serving estimate assumes.
If someone cannot eat the main protein, arrange a separate meal for them. Removing that person from the turkey count does not remove the need to feed them.
Check what “complete” means
Serving spoons, disposable plates, extra gravy, drinks and ice may still be your responsibility. Ask whether the turkey arrives sliced, whether the sides are in oven-safe containers, and whether dessert needs refrigeration.
If you are buying only barbecue proteins and making the rest yourself, our Texas BBQ party planner can help you think through the broader menu. Use the restaurant’s actual package portions when ordering.
Make the handoff easier
Plan pickup around your kitchen
Takeout saves cooking work, but it does not eliminate the timing problem. Decide where the food will go when it reaches your house and which dishes need the oven first. Start with the written instructions supplied with your actual order.
If you collect on Wednesday
- Clear a shelf first. Check tray dimensions before collecting a large order. A stack of containers can require more room than the same food on serving dishes.
- Read the heating instructions that evening. Identify the longest step and any instruction to remove lids, add liquid or use a separate dish. Do not leave this discovery until guests arrive.
- Give each dish an oven slot. Write a simple sequence for the main course, sides and your own baking. Ask about an alternative method if the supplied instructions depend on equipment you do not have.
If you collect on Thursday
- Match collection to serving time. “Pickup available all day” does not mean every time is available for your order. Get a confirmed slot and ask about the handoff process.
- Confirm whether it arrives hot or chilled. Even Thanksgiving Day pickup can require reheating. A fully cooked turkey is not necessarily ready to carve and serve immediately.
- Make the drive the last errand. Have someone ready at home to unpack the food, check the order and follow the storage or serving instructions. Missing gravy is easier to sort out before everyone sits down.
Six questions to ask before paying
- Which address am I collecting from? A business with several locations may restrict its holiday feast to one kitchen.
- What exactly secures the order? Ask about payment, confirmation emails and when changes stop being accepted.
- What will the full total be? Include required fees, tax, optional additions and any service charge shown at checkout.
- What state is the food in at pickup? Confirm chilled, frozen or hot, and ask for written heating instructions.
- Can the kitchen accommodate a dietary restriction? Ask about ingredients and preparation; do not infer suitability from a dish name.
- What happens if plans change? Check cancellation, refund and collection policies before promising the meal to your guests.
Save the confirmation and put the collection details in one place. The person picking up should have the order name, number, address, time and restaurant contact—not just a screenshot of the menu.
Houston Thanksgiving takeout questions
Where can I order Thanksgiving dinner for two in Houston?
Casa do Brasil lists a two-person takeout feast. If you prefer separate meals, Perry & Sons in Friendswood also lists an individual dinner. Compare the actual contents and pickup arrangements before choosing.
Which package is the cheapest?
At the listed prices, Saltgrass is $95 for four at participating stores. Casa do Brasil lists $85 for two, and Perry & Sons lists $49 for one in Friendswood. Compare packages for your guest count and add any sides or dessert you would buy separately.
Can I pick up on Thanksgiving Day?
Yes, some listed restaurants publish Thanksgiving pickup arrangements. Others depend on the selected item, location and slot. Confirm your order’s collection time rather than relying on the restaurant’s ordinary opening hours.
Is Thanksgiving takeout ready to eat?
Not always. Heat-and-serve packages need preparation at home. Ask about the temperature at collection and how long heating takes; a fully cooked meal may still arrive chilled.
Are dessert and side dishes always included?
No. The package table distinguishes dessert inclusion, and the restaurant sections describe the meals. Check the final order for side quantities, bread, sauces and dessert before adding more food.
Can I order after the published deadline?
Do not plan on it. Call the restaurant about any remaining availability, but treat a deadline or sold-out notice as binding unless the restaurant agrees to take your order.
Is Friendswood included in this Houston guide?
Yes. This guide covers Houston and nearby pickup options, with Friendswood identified separately. Judge the drive from your home rather than assuming every pickup is inside Houston city limits.
What if I would rather eat at a restaurant?
Use our restaurants open on Thanksgiving in Texas guide for dine-in planning. Takeout package prices and restaurant holiday dining prices are different products.
