THE DIFFERENCE, IN NUMBERS

Order A versus order B

Check against my own meal targets (optional)

These are values you choose for this order, not recommended daily intakes or a personalized nutrition plan.

Lower calories, higher protein or lower sodium does not automatically make one order better for every person. Compare the full order and your own needs. This tool does not screen for allergens or dietary suitability.

WHAT EXACTLY ARE WE ADDING?

The portion is part of the number.

“One serving” can mean an eight-piece entrée, a three-piece side or a specified weight of rice. Every menu entry below its name tells you which one the figures describe.

Changing quantity to 0.5 models half of that listed portion. It does not mean the restaurant sells a half-size order or that a half-and-half side matches that weight. Actual scoops, preparation and recipes can vary.

1 × main
+ 1 × side
+ 1 × sauce

Only selected entries are counted. A drink or dressing is not silently included in a combo. For a published whole sandwich, the standard recipe is already included—do not add its bun or toppings again.

These sources publish the nutrition figures for the selected U.S. servings. The tool stores a researched snapshot; it is not connected to live restaurant menus.

What does “protein per 100 kcal” tell me?

It is protein grams ÷ calories × 100. It compares the amount of protein relative to energy, not protein quality, fullness, overall nutrient balance or whether a food suits a medical diet. It is unavailable when calories are zero.

Why don’t the calories always match protein × 4, carbs × 4 and fat × 9?

Published figures are rounded and may use more specific energy calculations. We add the restaurant’s calorie figures directly rather than replacing them with a second estimate calculated from the rounded macros.

Can I remove a bun, request no sauce or double the meat?

Use a separately published variant when one is listed. This tool does not invent the nutritional effect of a customization. You can enter a custom item using figures supplied by the restaurant. Doubling a whole sandwich here doubles its entire listed recipe, not just its meat.

Are custom entries and incomplete totals identified?

Yes. Custom entries are marked as your label data. Calories and protein are required; carbohydrate, fat and sodium can remain unknown. A missing value produces an incomplete total showing only the known amount. Such totals cannot support a full difference comparison for that nutrient.
