Hull & Oak Menu — Southern, All Day Long
A modern Southern kitchen inside downtown’s Laura Hotel, running from weekday power breakfasts to award-winning weekend brunch to a proper steak-and-short-rib supper. Here’s every menu, by service, with real prices.
One kitchen, five personalities — depending entirely on what time you walk in.
Hull & Oak is the ground-floor restaurant of The Laura Hotel on Dallas Street, and it’s built for the rhythm of downtown. Early, it’s fingerling potatoes and Illy espresso for the breakfast-meeting crowd. Midday it flips to power lunches and a three-course Chef’s Express. On weekends it becomes the reason people cross town — a brunch of Brisket Croque-Cowgirl, BBQ Shrimp & Grits and mimosas that earned it an OpenTable Diners’ Choice nod and a “best weekend brunch” title.
By night it settles into supper: a Cajun ribeye, a hanger steak, bourbon-braised short ribs over green chili grits and bacon-braised collards. The thread through all of it is modern Southern cooking — Creole and Cajun accents, Texas swagger, plated with a hotel kitchen’s polish.
Because so much changes by daypart, the menu below is split the way the restaurant actually serves it. Pick a service, filter for how you eat, or search for a dish outright.
