Where Our Menu Information Comes From
Every menu on Texas Restaurant Menus is put together by hand from information each restaurant has made public. Nothing here is auto-scraped or mass-generated — a real person reviews and assembles each listing. When our sources disagree, we lean on whichever one is closest to the restaurant itself, roughly in this order:
The restaurant’s official website
Whenever a restaurant publishes its own menu online, that is our first and most trusted source. We use it to build the listing and as the benchmark we check everything else against.
Official printed & PDF menus
Where a restaurant provides a printed or downloadable menu, we use it directly. Several of our listings are rebuilt from a restaurant’s current printed menu to capture exact items and prices.
Google Business Profile (Google Maps) listings
We reference the menu information restaurants publish on their own Google Business Profile — the menu tab, item details, and menu photos posted on their Google Maps listing — to build and cross-check each page.
Real customer review photos
On some pages, we reference genuine menu and dish photos shared by real customers in Google reviews. These help us confirm real items, portion styles, and presentation — always cross-checked against official sources, never used in isolation.
Place details
Addresses, phone numbers, hours, and location categories come from official listings and mapping data providers, including Google Maps and Google Places.
How We Keep Listings Accurate
Menus shift all the time, and we don’t hide from that. Instead of claiming every page is permanently perfect, we hand you a simple way to see how fresh each one is:
Every menu page shows when it was last verified, so you always know how current the information is. We refresh a listing when we re-check a restaurant’s published menu, when a reader correction comes in, or when we spot that something has changed. Where we can, we also link directly to the restaurant’s own menu so you can confirm the very latest before you order.
An honest note about prices
Menu prices move around, often with no notice at all. Any price you see here is what the restaurant had posted as of that page’s verified date — think of it as a ballpark to plan around, not a locked-in figure. When the exact number matters, the restaurant is the only place that can confirm it.
How We Build Each Page
Our process for every restaurant listing follows the same steps:
- Gather the menu from the restaurant’s official website, printed menu, or Google Business Profile.
- Cross-check items and prices across more than one source where possible.
- Confirm details like hours, address, and phone against current place data.
- Write honest, original descriptions — we never invent prices, menu items, or details that aren’t real.
- Stamp the page with a verified date and, where available, a link to the restaurant’s own menu.
Found Something Wrong? Tell Us
If a page has a dish that’s been dropped, a price that’s drifted, hours that have moved, or a location that’s closed, we want to hear it. Once we know, we either fix the detail or pull the stale information, and the page’s verified date shifts to show it was revised. Reports get looked at as they arrive, and the straightforward ones are usually sorted within a few days.

Restaurant Owners
Run one of the places listed here? You’re welcome to send us a menu update, a change to your hours, or a request to take your listing down through the contact form. Before we apply anything, we check owner-reported changes against your own published information. There’s no cost to being listed, and no amount of money changes how a menu is written, shown, or ordered on the page.
Editorial Independence
What appears on this site is decided by us alone. Restaurants can’t buy their way onto a page, into a better spot, or out of a correction — listings and guides are put together purely from the sources described above. We do run ads through Google AdSense to keep the site free, and those ads are kept clearly separate from our actual content. They pay for the lights; they don’t get a say in what we write.
