Las Palapas Menu Choose the order that fits.
A puffy taco, a soup-and-flauta combination or a pack for the family are different ways to eat at Las Palapas. Compare the menu, serving formats and published offers before choosing a branch.
From a single restaurant to several ways to feed a table
Founded in 1981 by Ron Acosta, Las Palapas combines a sit-down Tex-Mex menu with drive-thru convenience. The Ron Taco and Mama Ruth’s flautas sit alongside breakfast plates, soups, burritos and the chain’s puffy tacos. The useful distinction is the order format: a single taco is not the same purchase as a plate with sides, and a lunch offer is not the same as a regular-menu order.
Puffy tacos on a plate
The published plate has two filled shells with rice and refried beans. Compare it with the separate single-taco listing before adding sides.
Fish tacos on a plate
The published fish-taco plate contains three tacos; the signature fish-taco order has two. Specify the format when asking for a price.
Soup plus a flauta
The LP Soup Combo is a bowl with a topped flauta and beans. Check cup, bowl and large prices separately if you only want soup.
Filling choices for avocado
The Stuffed Avocado offers vegetables, shrimp, chicken or beef with squash and cilantro. Confirm the filling price; the cheese topping also matters for dietary requests.

Compare a plan for your group
Select the branch, date and local time you intend to eat. The planner checks that branch’s published hours, including overnight periods, before comparing weekday-offer windows and family packs. Results are food-cost comparisons, not order acceptance.
The branch selected here is also shown in the location panel below. Published branch hours may differ from dine-in or pickup cutoffs; confirm availability before ordering.
The examples below show one pack for four people, plus a weekday dine-in lunch comparison.

Las Palapas menu questions
What comes on the Puffy Taco Plate?
The published plate has two puffy tacos with beef or shredded chicken, rice and refried beans. A separate single-taco listing is a different order.
What is the difference between the Macho and Okie burritos?
The Macho is the sauced, cheese-topped burrito base. The Okie adds lettuce, tomato and guacamole. Meat substitutions can change either price.
Does the kids’ menu include a drink?
The restaurant’s published kids’ menu says its choices include a small drink. Confirm the available drink and any substitution charges at the branch.
Are soup prices for the same size?
No single size should be assumed. The published soup menu offers cup, bowl and large formats. Ask which size matches the price when comparing a soup with a soup-and-flauta combo.
Is a breakfast plate available after the morning special ends?
The main menu advertises breakfast plates as served all day, but the weekday dine-in breakfast offer is only 6–10:30 a.m. The availability of a dish does not extend its promotional price.
What time is happy hour now?
The current published schedule is Monday–Saturday, 3–7 p.m., and Sunday from 3 p.m. to close. The reviewed poster does not list a reverse happy hour. Confirm your branch’s participation and closing time.
Are all listed prices identical across locations?
No branch-wide price promise is made. Confirm the exact restaurant, filling, size and ordering channel at checkout; special offers have their own conditions.
Is the senior menu a percentage discount?
The main menu has a separate senior section with smaller choices and a senior beverage. Confirm the eligibility rule and current branch price rather than assuming a percentage off every dish.
How do I ask about vegetarian choices or allergies?
Ask about beans, rice, stocks, cooking fats, sauces, dairy, meat toppings and shared preparation. A vegetable filling or corn tortilla alone does not establish vegetarian, vegan or allergy suitability.
